Spectral Shine Radiance Balms
Purpose: To add diffused, glitter free radiance that is unlike any traditional highlighter on the market. It is like a beautiful lighting filter for the skin. It smooths and blurs the skin, and imparts the most gentle and soft luminosity. It is not glossy, reflective, metallic, or high shine. This is "your skin under amazing lighting" in a compact.
Texture: An intentionally stiff and unyielding cream formula. It feels like very firm putty, and it does not soften or melt with the warmth of a finger. Make sure you read the directions below to get the best use out of your product!
Tools: Pairs best with the Skybuff brush, that was designed specifically for this product. But any kind of semi-dense brush, particularly with a flat edge will work. You can also use a velour puff if you want to use the product to "set" makeup.
Directions
Brush Application: Holding the base/bottom of a semi-dense brush (think holding a pen) and repeatedly swipe in the pan for around 10 seconds with moderate to hard pressure to pick up product. Do not be gentle or delicate. The brush should be smushed into the product. The analogy we like to use is pretend you are spreading cold butter on toast. You should see product building up on the brush. If you don't, you are likely not swiping aggressively enough. Then, apply softly to the face!
Pairs best with the Skybuff brush, that was designed by us specifically for this product
Fingers: With decent pressure, swirl your finger into the pan repeatedly to pick up product. Then in short swiping/dragging motions, blend it into the skin. Tapping gently will not deposit product well. It will not melt no matter how much you swirl. It will remain firm to the touch.
New User Tips: If it is your first few times trying to product, apply it in front of bright, direct lighting (ie. sunlight, vanity lights) to appreciate its actual effect and see what it is doing on the skin. You will not notice the difference if you are applying it in soft or ambient lighting.
